HON. PRINCE AMBROSE OBINNA
Hon. Prince AmbroseObinnaEgu, an exemplary new generation leader hails from the politically famous Egu family ofUmumuo,Eziala, Umuohiagu, NgorOkpala Local Government Area, Imo state.
His parents late Justice Ambrose and Lolo TheresaEgu soon after his birth realized young Obinna was cut out for leadership and service hence they encouraged him to pursue this passion.
Thus from Primary School to secondary School and up to the University he has been outstanding in this duty. His passion for service made him reject many golden opportunities to relocate abroad for further studies as he instead choose to stay with his people.
When he completed university education Hon. Egu secured employment in the public service of the country where he worked for over ten years.
But, Propelled by the burning desire to continue rendering service the lawmaker in 2011 contested election to represent Ngor-Okpala state constituency in the state Assembly on the platform of PDP.
He fought gallantly but lost but returned again when opportunitybeckoned again in 2015 and this time luck smiled on him as he emerged victorious.
Since inauguration the lawmaker has used the legislative platform to offer pragmatic, proactive and result oriented leadership. He has recorded numerous feats in the presentation of bills and motions on the floor of the house.At present due to his sterling performance in the house, he is the Leader of Young Parliamentarians Forum in the South East Zone.
A renowned community and religious leader, Hon. Egu has in under one year of his representation completely redefined the landscape of legislative representation of NgorOkpala in the state Assembly.
He is married and blessed with three wonderful children.
