IMO STATE POLICE COMMAND PRESS RELEASE

The Imo State Police Command wishes to inform the general public especially motorists that the traffic lights installed by the State Government at various junctions and roundabouts within the Owerri metropolis are now functional. The general public are by this press release advised to always obey the traffic lights signal to ensure free flow of traffic while the Police officers/Traffic Wardens and other security agencies are there to enforce strict compliance. To this end, any person(s) who disobey the traffic lights signal is deemed to have committed a traffic offence and such person(s) will be arrested and made to face the full wrath of the law.
