Imo Govt harps on ICT-driven type of education

The state Governor, Anayo Okorocha emphasized the need for teachers to upgrade their knowledge with new innovations and technologies obtainable in modern ICT world, during a meeting with all the head teachers and members of the State Development Council (SDC) at the Imo International Convention Centre, Owerri.

According to Governor Okorocha “education has changed in the Twenty First Century, every teacher must be ICT compliant, very soon teachers who are not ICT compliant may become irrelevant and outdated in the teaching profession”
