TASKFORCE WARNS AGAINST INDISCRIMINATE REFUSE DUMP

The taskforce on Drainags and Frontages has began the evacuation of sand in gutters along Akanchanwa Road and other adjoining streets in the area.

The committee chairman Comrade Jeff Nwoha made this known to newsmen in Owerri, while work is going on in the area.

Comrade Nwoha who warned against indiscriminate dumping of refuse, said a lot of work has been carried out to evacuate sand and refuse that blocked the drainage

He seized the opportunity to reveal that they have gone extra mile to close bad spots that pose a big threat to road users in the area and called on Imo indigenes to adhere to the call for environmental cleanness in line with the governor`s Imo my pride program designed to position Imo as the most cleanest state in the country.

The committee chairman passionately for maximum cooperation from the people of the state to enable them perform effectively for the betterment of the state
